What does a wedding at Taj Rishikesh cost?

Taj Rishikesh lists ₹80 lakh a day for 75 rooms with three meals and the venue, so about ₹1.6 crore for two days before GST. Plates start at ₹6,000 veg, and weddings here top out near 200 guests.

Can you serve alcohol and non-veg at a Rishikesh wedding?

Not in town. Non-veg food is restricted inside Rishikesh, Muni Ki Reti and Haridwar limits, and Aloha, Lemon Tree, Divine and Sattva are dry. Up the river road, Atali Ganga, Raga, jüSTa Rasa and DLS allow outside alcohol.

Which Rishikesh venues take a big wedding?

Most Rishikesh resorts host 100–200 guests. For more: Amatra by the Ganges lists a riverside lawn for 750 seated, Hyatt Place Haridwar a ballroom for 540, Pilibhit House up to 1,000 standing, and The Westin a ballroom for 350 at a banquet.

How far is Rishikesh from Delhi?

About 240 km by road, five to six hours. Dehradun's Jolly Grant airport is about 25 km from Tapovan, so most guests fly in and take a short drive up.
