Good to know
Two days with rooms, three meals and the venue: Jaisalmer Marriott and Storii by ITC list about ₹70 lakh, Taj Gorbandh Palace ₹90 lakh, Fort Rajwada ₹1.15 crore and Suryagarh about ₹3.9 crore, each before 18% GST.
Suryagarh lists ₹1.97 crore a day for 95 rooms with three meals and the venue, before GST. When Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani married there in 2023, press reports put a season day at about ₹2 crore. Food is listed from ₹12,500 a plate.
October to March. Summer highs reach about 49°C, and Jaisalmer's airport has flights only in the winter season; at other times guests fly to Jodhpur and drive about four hours.
We found no public way to hire the fort or Bada Bagh for a function. Mandir Palace, the royal family's palace in the walled city, has a rooftop with fort views and a lawn for about 250.
For a small one. SUJÁN The Serai, a 21-tent Relais & Châteaux camp 40 minutes from town, suits about 40 guests in residence. Larger desert weddings use the lawns at Suryagarh, Fort Rajwada or Taj Gorbandh.
The Leela signed an 80-room desert resort with a pillarless ballroom in November 2025, to carry its brand from 2026. We will add it once it takes wedding bookings.
