What does a wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace cost?

In 2018 the Times of India put the whole hotel at ₹64.4 lakh a night, rooms only, and about ₹4 crore for a five-night celebrity wedding with functions at Mehrangarh. The hotel has 71 rooms and suites today, food is listed from ₹6,000 a plate, and the Baradari Lawn takes 1,500 guests.

Can you get married at Mehrangarh Fort?

Yes, by private arrangement with the fort's events desk; there is no public rate card. In 2018 the set-up for each ceremony was reported at about ₹10 lakh. Guests stay at Umaid Bhawan, RAAS or other hotels in the city.

Which forts near Jodhpur host weddings?

When is the best time for a Jodhpur wedding?

October to March, when days are warm and nights cool. Jodhpur has its own airport with flights from Delhi and Mumbai, and Jaisalmer is about four hours' drive west.

Is GST included in Jodhpur wedding quotes?

Usually not. Hotels quote before tax: rooms, banquet food and set-up carry 18% GST. Add roughly a fifth to any figure marked + tax.
