Wedding Content Creator Cost in India 2026: What Reels, Live Stories and BTS Teams Charge

In short

A wedding content creator in India costs about ₹10,000–15,000 for one function with one creator, ₹30,000–1.25 lakh for a packaged wedding, and ₹2 lakh and above at the best-known studios, which deliver about 20 reels in 40–50 days. Our packages run ₹15,000 to ₹1.25 lakh, with 20 reels in seven days at ₹50,000.

Two years ago a wedding content creator was a cousin with a good phone. In 2026 it is a line on the sheet with its own studios, its own price ladder and its own vocabulary: BTS, live stories, same-day reels, the couple's page. The prices are still mostly hidden behind 'DM for rates', so this guide collects what is published, from Instagram captions, marketplaces, studio decks and our own packages, read in October 2026.

The price ladder

The ladder. At the bottom, single creators post function prices of ₹9,999–15,000 for one event in Delhi NCR. In the middle, packaged weddings run ₹30,000–1.25 lakh depending on days and creators, and solo creators quote ₹12,000–20,000 a day against ₹30,000–60,000 a day for two-person teams. At the top, the category's best-known studios start at ₹2 lakh for about 20 reels, two creators and delivery in 40–50 days, and the listicles that rank for this question tell couples to expect ₹1.5 lakh for a single day and ₹4–5 lakh for a multi-day wedding. Named teams with a following charge ₹1–3 lakh a day plus travel.

What the price should buy

What the price should buy. Count four things: creators on the ground, reels delivered, days to deliver, and what happens live. Live stories posted during the function and a same-day reel are the point of hiring a content creator rather than waiting for the film; if they are extras, the package is a slower videographer. Then the terms nobody prints: the raw drive, reposting rights, music licences, and whether the couple's page is set up and handed back.

What moves the number

What moves the number. Days and functions first, because every function is a shift and an edit. Creators second: two is the usual booking, so one can edit while the other shoots. Then speed: a 24-hour edit costs more than a seven-day one, and a six-hour same-day reel more still. Travel for outstation weddings is on the client. Equipment matters less than people say; a current phone, a gimbal, wireless mics and an edit desk at the venue are the whole kit.

Content creator, photographer, videographer

How it differs from the photographers. The photo and film team shoots the record: portraits, the pheras, the album and the film delivered in weeks or months. The content creator shoots the phone-first version for the next 24 hours: vertical, trend-led, posted while it is happening. Most couples book both, and the arrangement works when the content team knows the run sheet and stays out of the photographers' frames.

Reels per rupee

Where the deals are. Reel counts per rupee vary more than any other wedding line: ₹2,500 a reel in a packaged three-day booking against ₹10,000 a reel at the top of the market for the same twenty reels. Delivery days vary from seven to fifty. Nobody publishes either number, so ask for both before the price.

Our own packages run from ₹15,000 for one creator on one function to ₹1.25 lakh for a six-day destination wedding, with twenty reels in seven working days at ₹50,000, live stories at every price and the raw drive from the Signature package up. We publish all of it because we plan the weddings we shoot and would rather families compare on deliverables than on followers.

What to ask before booking

The questions to ask any content creator: how many creators and on which functions; how many reels, in how many days; whether stories go live during the function; who owns the raw footage and the music; how they work alongside the photographers; whether the couple's page is set up and handed back; what travel and stay cost outstation; and whether the price includes GST.

Common questions

How much does a wedding content creator cost in India?+

Single-function, single-creator work starts around ₹10,000–15,000 on Instagram; packaged weddings run ₹30,000–1.25 lakh; the category's best-known studios start at ₹2 lakh for 20 reels delivered in 40–50 days, and listicles tell couples to expect ₹1.5–5 lakh. Our packages run ₹15,000 for one creator to ₹1.25 lakh for a destination wedding, with 20 reels in seven days at ₹50,000.

How much does a wedding content creator charge per day?+

Solo creators charge about ₹12,000–20,000 a day, two-person teams ₹30,000–60,000 a day and named teams ₹1–3 lakh a day plus travel, in the prices published across Instagram captions, marketplaces and studio decks in October 2026. Per-day pricing hides the deliverables, so ask for reels per day and delivery days.

What does a wedding content creator do?+

A wedding content creator shoots on a phone and gimbal for the screen, not the album: trend-led reels, live stories posted during the function, talk-to-camera moments, and the couple's page kept updated through the wedding. Edits are done at the venue, so a function that ends at midnight can be online before lunch.

Is a wedding content creator worth it?+

If you want the wedding on your own accounts while it is happening, and reels your guests will actually watch, yes, and at ₹15,000–50,000 it is one of the cheaper lines on the sheet. If you only want the record, the photo and film team is enough. The waste is a content team that does not know the run sheet and misses the moments.

How many reels should a wedding content creator deliver?+

About six from one day with one creator, twelve from a duo, twenty from a three-day package, forty or more from multi-day teams. Treat the count as a floor and ask for the delivery date next to it: the market runs from 24–48 hours for the first reel to 40–50 days for a full set.

Do content creators give you the raw footage?+

Not always, and it is the term to check. Many studios keep raw phone footage or sell it as an extra. Ask whether the raw drive is handed over, who owns reposting rights and music licences, and whether the couple's page is set up and handed back with everything on it.
