Two days with 100 rooms and four meals runs about ₹25–70 lakh at the resorts that quoted our team, from Kuta's beachfront hotels to Jimbaran, before décor, artists and flights. Bali's venues are among the cheapest abroad; the flights are not, at roughly ₹97 lakh return for 200 guests from Delhi or Mumbai.
At the resort, about the same or cheaper: ₹25–70 lakh for two days against Thailand's ₹50 lakh–1.3 crore in our quotes. In the air, no: Bali has no non-stop from Delhi and fares ran about USD 510 return a guest, against ₹30,000–35,000 to Phuket. For 200 guests that is roughly ₹97 lakh of flights to Bali and ₹60–70 lakh to Thailand.
Indian catering runs ₹3,500–8,500 a plate on planners' pages, or IDR 312,500–375,000 (about ₹1,700–2,000) a head from a Bali Indian restaurant group's buffet. Décor is ₹6–18 lakh for 50–80 guests and ₹15–60 lakh for 80–200. Add the village (banjar) fee of IDR 3.5–8 million, a DJ at IDR 4.5–12 million, fireworks IDR 13–20.5 million before the permit, and 21% on hotel prices.
A visa on arrival at IDR 500,000 (about ₹2,665) for 30 days, plus the IDR 150,000 (about ₹800) Bali tourist levy, both payable online before flying. Return fares ran about USD 510 a guest in the October 2026 calendars, via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok.
Only if both hold the same religion, with a religious ceremony first and then registration at the civil office; a Hindu couple can do this through a Balinese temple ceremony and the civil registry. Most Indian families treat the Bali wedding as the ceremony and register the marriage in India.
April to October is the dry season, with May to September the most reliable for lawns and beach functions; November to March is wet. Music stops at 22:00–23:00 at most villas and resorts, and many ban fireworks, so plan the sangeet indoors or early. Nyepi, the day of silence in March, closes the island for 24 hours.
