Planners publish ₹45 lakh–3.5 crore all-in. Muscat is under three hours from Delhi and Mumbai.
Oman publishes few Indian-wedding prices of its own, so our estimate of ₹65 lakh–2 crore for 200 guests over two days leans on Dubai prices for décor, mandap, pandit and the baraat, with Muscat figures for the hotel bar, coaches and visas. Hotel quotes carry 5% VAT plus service and municipality fees.
Indians with a valid US, UK, Schengen, Canadian, Australian or Japanese visa, or GCC residence, enter visa-free; others take an e-visa. A new free 14-day visa was announced without a published country list, so check before the guest pack goes out. Return fares from Mumbai and Delhi ran about ₹23,000–31,000 a guest, so ₹47–63 lakh for 200.
The Indian embassy in Muscat marries only couples where one partner is an Oman resident, so an Oman wedding is a ceremony and the marriage is registered in India under the Hindu Marriage Act or the Special Marriage Act.
October to March in Muscat, when the lawns and beaches are usable; Salalah's khareef green season runs June to September. Ramadan 2027 falls from about 8 February to 10 March, when only international hotels serve alcohol and daytime functions are restrained, so most families book after mid-March or in November. Outdoor music has strict limits at several hotels.
The beach hotels at Shatti Al Qurm and Barr Al Jissah, with ballrooms for 300 and lawns on the sea, and the city hotels on Sultan Qaboos Street with cheaper rooms. Some resorts ask for a full buyout in peak season, so ask the room count before the lawn.
